Margaret has been a student of the inestimable Hart de Fouw for over 25 years, in Jyotisha, Palmistry, Vaastu, and Samkhya. She had the good fortune to be coached by Dr. Robert Svoboda in Ayurveda and related subjects for several years. Margaret consults and teaches these subjects across North, Central, and South America, and India.
Before beginning the odyssey into the beauty of classical India, she was an organic foods producer, environmental activist, political organizer, rancher, and college executive officer, with graduate degrees in public policy and public administration.
She teaches and studies and offers private sessions from her home in British Columbia and from her temporary perch in South India.
Emily Glaser was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing with a specialization in Neuroscience and Hospice. Interested in world medicine she worked internationally in China and Nepal with Global Volunteer Network, Cambodia with Angkor Hospital for Children and Tanzania with St. Lucia Nursing Home. After Emily quenched her thirst for world travel she returned home to NM, graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts and started her journey into the deep and profound science of Ayurveda. In 2009, Emily had the great honor to study under Dr. Vasant Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute. Shortly after, she spent 6 months at Vaidyagrama--Ayurvedic Healing Village in southern India where she furthered her study of Ayurveda and Panchakarma therapy with chief physician, Dr. Ramadas. Emily has been a student of Indian Astrology for 10 years and has been studying in the lineage of Hart de Fouw, under the tutelage of Penny Farrow. Emily teaches internationally and carries a deep and profound respect for the vedic sciences.
We will be staying at Vaidyagrama Healing Village, an Ayurvedic community that includes a panchakarma treatment hospital and a residential community. The entire campus is designed and built according to the principles of Vastu shastra, the vedic science of architecture and auspicious placement.
The accommodations are simple and spacious. Each room includes 2 single beds and private bathroom with running hot water and western toilets.
The delicious vegetarian meals are prepared according to the principles of Ayurveda, the ancient system of health and healing. Prepared with vegetables grown on site or nearby, local spices and herbs, and milk from the on-site goshala or cow pen, you will taste the purity and love in every bite. Should you have any medical needs, resident Ayurvedic physicians are available.
Plan to arrive at Coimbatore Airport, Tamil Nadu, on December 15, 2019, and we will arrange for ground transportation to our site. Classes will begin the following day.
You are responsible for acquiring any visas or travel permits to enter India from your home country.
